The scandal-plagued 45-year-old actor has been estranged from Brooke Mueller, the 33-year-old mother of his twin sons, since he allegedly attacked her on Christmas Day last year.
In an unusual move Mueller also filed her own set of divorce papers.
But while her husband requested joint custody of their twin sons, Bob and Max, she asked for sole physical custody with only visitation rights for Sheen.
In Sheen's papers the Two and a Half Men star said he would keep the family house in return for £623,000 and a parting lump sum of nearly half a million pounds.
It won’t make much of a dent in Sheen’s bank balance. He is paid an estimated £600,000-an-episode for his hit TV comedy.
According to the court documents, he also gets to keep his £3.4 million wristwatch collection.
It was the disappearance of one of these prized watches that allegedly
set off Sheen’s naked rampage through his Plaza hotel suite in New
York a week ago.

When police arrived on the scene, they found the porn star cowering in the bathroom and Sheen incoherent and unclothed.

Richards and their two daughters, Sam, six, and Lola, five, for a family getaway.In the divorce treatment, Ms Mueller makes certain she doesn’t get short-changed compared to Ms Richards.
‘Under no circumstances shall child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than child support paid by Charlie to Denise Richards for Sam and Lola,’ adds the 43-page filing.
Reports in the US claimed Sheen carried on partying with drugs and prostitutes on his return to Los Angeles last week and one friend was quoted as saying he even feared for the out-of-control actor’s life.
Sheen’s marriage to Ms Mueller exploded on Christmas Day when he allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill her.
In court papers filed yesterday, Sheen lists the day of separation as December 25, 2009.
He had completed court-ordered rehab treatment stemming from that incident just two months before his meltdown last week.
But he is not expected to face any additional punishment because he
wasn’t arrested or charged over the New York incident.
