Stars in their eyes: Katy Brand and Rufus Hound take off Beyonce and Cheryl Cole for Sport Relief's Let's Dance
If Cheryl Cole ever wants a stand-in for her public appearances then she should look no further than comic Rufus Hound.
Ditto for Beyonce, who could well have met her match in Katy Brand after the comedienne gave her a run for her money in the dance routine stakes.
But Cheryl and Beyonce really needn't worry about the competition because both comics were just having some fun all in the name of charity.
Scroll down to watch the videos...
Hound and Brand were two of six celebrity acts who made it to the final of BBC One's Let's Dance competition for its Sport Relief charity.
Brand, who looked fantastic in her black leotard and gold glove, strutted her stuff to Beyonce's All The Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), while Hound had the audience in fits of laughter with his rendition of Cheryl's Fight For This Love.
Although both performed tricky dance routines, they didn't miss a step and performed them to perfection while still managing to keep the comedy element.
All The Single Ladies: Katy Brand performs Beyonce's dance routine to perfection
And they not only impressed the celebrity judges - comedians Robert Webb and Jack Dee and impersonator John Culshaw - but they were also the last two standing after the public vote with Hound coming up trumps.
As Hound received his award from last year's winner Webb, he said, 'I believe this moment defines me and history. It’s not easy getting a fat man to move like this!’, before performing his routine once more.
Webb added: ‘It almost goes without saying, he is more compelling and watchable than Cheryl Cole. He also added a costume that clearly hurts and in my experience that works!’
Spot the difference: Rufus takes off Cheryl's dance routine to Fight For This Love
Other stars that made it to the final were GMTV presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold, who almost didn't make it after Kate injured her coccyx during their last rehearsals before the live show.
But thankfully she recovered in time so she and Arnold could dance to Born To Hand Jive from the musical Grease - although Kate admitted afterwards that she padded her bottom in case it happened again.
Kate said she had been worried about dancing but was 'chuffed' to have made it to the final, with Arnold joking that he could hear the 'chatter of her veneers' as they waited to go on.

Smooth Criminal: Actress Debra Stephenson has all the right moves as she pays tribute to Michael Jackson
Also performing tonight was actress Debra Stephenson, who danced to Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal in a white suit and black trilby hat identical to the late singer's costume in his video for the song.
Webb told her that she'd done a great job as it wasn't easy to 'dance like Michael Jackson', while Jack Dee joked: 'You have no idea how many conspiracy theories you have started.'
Actress Cheryl Fergison, who plays Heather Trott, was also in the final for her rendition of Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby, but unfortunately, after pulling a muscle in rehearsals, she was unable to perform live so a video of her performance two weeks ago was played instead.
Grumpy Old Gagas: (L-R) Birthday girl Linda Robson, Susie Blake, Lesley Joseph and Jenny Éclair perform to Poker Face
Presenters of the BBC show Grumpy Old Women - Jenny Éclair and Susie Blake, along with Birds of Feather stars Lesley Joseph and Linda Robson - proved they were game for a laugh as they each dressed up in a different Lady Gaga persona to perform Poker Face.
Linda, who turned 52 today, was seen afterwards on her mobile phone backstage as she joked she was voting for them as it was easy to get through to their lines.
The show, which was presented by Steve Jones and Claudia Winkleman, also saw live performances from hip-hop group N-Dubz and the young stars of West End show Billy Elliot.
It was part of a whole range of shows and fundraising events for Sport Relief, which will all be broadcast on the BBC from 19-21 March.

The virtual battles where soldiers can't die: MoD trains Army to fight using sophisticated video games

Captain Terry Newton from the Royal Tank Regiment shows how the training system works at the MoD centre in Bristol. It can simulate a variety of terrains faced by troops in the Middle East
Poised with his rifle in the searing heat of the Afghan desert, a British soldier suddenly has to dive for cover as he comes under enemy fire.
However, despite the bullets whizzing all around he is in no real danger ... because he's sitting in an Armed Forces base in Bristol 3,500 miles from the front line.
Although this might seem like fun and games it is a serious part of the pre-deployment training for troops heading into the combat zone.
Called Op JCOVE, the virtual system made only for the Armed Forces runs on PCs and laptops and allows soldiers to experience a wide range of scenarios both in patrol vehicles and on foot.
JCOVE at work: Soldiers roam around realistic terrain and can work in teams using a multi-player option
Out on the frontline: Royal Marine Commandos on the ground in Helmand, Southern Afghanistan
Before they 'head out' into the computer combat zone on their laptops they are briefed on the scenarios they might face.
The system simulates various types of terrain found in the Middle East and arms the 'gamers' with virtual versions of the latest British equipment. Each player has a life bar and face enemy characters that are responsive and 'free-thinking'.
The soldiers interact with each other during the game and if one of them 'dies' during the exercise the others will carry on. Once it is over their mistakes are examined.
Captain Terry Newton, who fought in Afghanistan last year, said: 'JCOVE is a fantastic tool to build up the basics for going on operations.
'The verbal communications we would use and the drills we would do for example to call in a rescue helicopter can be mimicked on this system.
Soldiers from 1 Rifles try out the training system that lets them practice various drills they will need to know once they get sent to the frontline
Concentrating hard the soldiers try out the gaming system. After each exercise they talk through what they can improve in how they tackled the situation
'One of the main benefits is that the modern generation of soldiers are very used to computer consoles so they pick up on the simulation and treat it like a rehearsal very quickly.
'And for the younger soldiers who may not have been on operations before it is a relatively relaxed way to build up their confidence, build up their verbals.'
The JCOVE system even has characters dressed as Afghan civilians who enter a building, pick up a weapon and come out as Taliban.
Captain Newton said: 'This obviously reflects reality. When you're in Afghanistan the Taliban don't wear a uniform. You can only distinguish them once they have a weapon and are firing at you.
'We let a soldier run through the scenario, pause it and if he's made a mistake take him back let him redo it again. So when he gets on operations he can do things instinctively.'
John Brookes, JCOVE project manager, added: 'Originally this system just looked a vehicle convoy operations, now with the upgraded VBS2 software we can focus on more dismounted operations.
'We made sure as much UK kit as possible was represented within the software.
'It can do foot patrols, section attacks, 'call-for' fires, almost anything you can think of as a military exercise can we represented within the system.'
The system is also used by the U.S Army and Marine Corps and other Nato members.
The software manufacturer Bohemia Interactive, have developed a pared-down version of the game called JCOVE Lite for the British public.
It was paid for by the Ministry of Defence to give people, particularly potential recruits, an idea of how the British military trained for combat.[endtext]

F1 legend Michael Schumacher is back in the cockpit at Bahrain but we ask at what price?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gr00HlaK-L0&feature=player_embeddedendofvid
[starttext]
The most eagerly awaited F1 season in years gets underway in the desert of Bahrain on Sunday and to celebrate we've launched a brand new and exciting blog, which promises to keep you in the fast lane. Stay tuned for the latest insight in what is poised to be a thrilling year.
THE utter dejection etched across Michael Schumacher’s face upon announcing his aborted Formula One comeback last year was evident for everyone to see.
‘For a moment,’ the seven-time world champion said, ‘I felt like I was back alive.’ To many observers this was statement of his intent to make a 2010 comeback, some three years after we last saw him fist pump from the top of the rostrum.
And when Ross Brawn, the man chiefly responsible for each of Schumacher’s successes in securing seven titles, and the German manufacturer Mercedes came calling in November last year, his answer was unlikely to be nein.
But at the grand old age of 41, why is the most decorated F1 driver of all time back on the grid?
Apart from starting the most Grand Prix (that honour lies with Rubens Barrichello) Schumacher has smashed every record in the sport. Most Grand Prix wins, check. In fact standing at 91, he has some 40 more than second on the list Alain Prost. Most pole-positions, check. 68 is 3 better than legend Ayrton Senna. And most importantly F1 world title crowns, check. 7 is 2 more than the great Juan Manuel Fangio ever achieved.
For all his undoubted ability however, the German’s success did not come without controversy. Who can forget his inaugural Championship in 1994, when he rammed title contender Damon Hill off the road in a do-or-die manoeuvre during the final race of the season at Adelaide?
A move he subsequently tried three years later on Jacques Villeneuve. With a slowing car and his title aspirations slipping away from him, he deliberately drove into the Canadian’s passing Williams. But this time it didn’t work. Schumacher was forced to retire, leaving commentator Martin Brundle to exclaim, ‘You’ve hit the wrong part of him, my friend’.
In 1998 he claimed David Coulthard tried to ‘f***ing kill’ him after HE drove into the back of the Scotsman during a soaking Belgian Grand Prix.
While in 2006, he inexplicably parked his Ferrari on the final corner during qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix forcing title rival, Fernando Alonso, to slow to avoid him and with it lose his chance of beating Schumacher’s qualifying time.
And let’s not get started on the farcical ‘team-orders’ debacle during a decade of a one-man show at Ferrari.
Even his move to retire in 2006, despite both he and Ferrari claiming it was an amicable one, reeked of a man being pushed rather than one taking the proverbial jump. He’s looked about as comfortable in his subsequent role as the Prancing Horse’s technical adviser as Flavio Briatore would on a lie-detector machine.
So despite 14 trophy-laden years in the sport, Schumacher still feels he has something to prove to cement his legacy in motoring’s elite competition and sway the critics.
From a personal point of view, I think it’s excellent news to have Schumacher back on the F1 grid. Ranked alongside Prost, Senna, Fangio and Jimmy Clark the German, despite his aforementioned notoriety, has a record that speaks for itself. And for a world champion driver like Lewis Hamilton to make his claim to join them, he has to race against them. Now he will get his chance.
But for Schumacher’s sake, let’s hope his hugely anticipated return to the track compares to comeback sporting royalty in the ilk of Sir Steve Redgrave and Lance Armstrong, who both fought off life-threatening illnesses to reach the pinnacle of their respective sports once again.
Sadly however, for every Redgrave and Armstrong there are five Muhammad Alis, Bjorn Borgs and Mark Spitzs – examples of elite sportsman who just didn’t know when to walk away. The question on the eve of the season’s curtain raiser in Bahrain is has Schuey got enough gas in the tank to prove he truly is the greatest driver ever to sit in a Formula One cockpit?
Schumacher’s F1 comeback makes the class of 2010 the greatest in terms of world champions competing in a single season since 1999. The current grid boasts the seven-time champion as well as double-winner Fernando Alonso and Britain’s back-to-back kings of the track Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.
But in comparison to eleven years ago when Mika Hakkinen waltzed to his second consecutive title, while Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve pottered around in a largely uncompetitive Jordan and BAR respectively and Schumacher was ruled out for six races after breaking his leg at the British Grand Prix, this season’s quartet are expected to do battle in the best cars on the track over an unprecedented 19 races.
All of which adds up to making this season one of the most eagerly anticipated in recent history.

Is Lady GaGa's new video Telephone too explicit for TV?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQ95z6ywcBYendofvid
[starttext]
By Daily Mail Reporter
Raunchy: Lady GaGa is seen in various states of undress in her expletive-laden, violent nine-minute epic video for Telephone
Lady GaGa is known for her scantily-clad outfits and risque performances, but in her latest video she even manages to surpass herself.
The singer's nine-minute epic promo for Telephone, which also stars Beyonce Knowles, features graphic violence, nudity, expletives, a lesbian kiss and mass murder.
GaGa admits the video has been inspired by Quentin Tarantino films and has yet to produce a censored version suitable for daytime viewing.
The big-budget video premiered last night and has received rave reviews from critics, but the explicit content means it won't be suitable for the singer's younger fans.
Prison life: GaGa lies in her dirty prison cell wearing nothing but police crime scene tape
The promo follows on from GaGa's Paparazzi video, which saw the singer poison her boyfriend.
Both videos were directed by Jonas Akerlund and co-written by GaGa herself.
Explaining the video, which is so graphic MailOnline is unable to show it, GaGa said: 'There's certainly always a hidden message in my music videos. But I would say most predominately, I'm always trying to convolute everyone's idea of what a pop music video should be.
'There was this really amazing quality in 'Paparazzi,' where it kind of had this pure pop music quality but at the same time it was a commentary on fame culture. In its own way, even at certain points working with Jonas really achieved this high art quality in the way that it was shot.
In the slammer: Lady GaGa is led into prison by two burly prison guards
'I wanted to do the same thing with this video - take a decidedly pop song, which on the surface has a quite shallow meaning, and turn it into something deeper.'
The video starts with GaGa being led to her cell by two burly transvestite prison guards, watched by her sexy cellmates.
After being thrown on the bed, they remove her black and white prison-style jacket, leaving GaGa practically naked with nothing but a body stocking on and black tape over her breasts.
Smoking hot: GaGa looks like a sadomasochists' fantasy as she is led into the prison exercise yard wearing chains and a pair of sunglasses made of smoking cigarettes
Friendly inmates: Lady GaGa gets up close and personal with a butch prisoner
Perhaps in a bid to prove internet rumours about her sex, GaGa jumps up on the rails, with her nether regions censored.
Her full-frontal exposure prompts one of the guards to say: 'I told you she didn't have a d**k.'
The other complains: 'Too bad.'
The action then cuts to the prison exercise yard, where the prisoners are working out to the sounds of GaGa's track Paper Gangsta'.
Answer the phone: After witnessing a violent fight between two prisoners, Lady GaGa receives a phonecall from Beyonce
Looking like a sadomasochists' fantasy, GaGa is led in wearing heavy chains and a pair of sunglasses made out of smoking cigarettes and has soon charmed a butch prisoner.
To the amazement of the prisoners, GaGa and the leather-clad inmate start kissing, who starts groping the singer between her legs.
GaGa is told she has a phonecall over the loud speaker, but is too busy enjoying herself to answer it.
The next scene sees the singer dressed like Madonna's Desperately Seeking Susan days in a studded leather jacket, with soft drink cans in her hair used as rollers
Painting ladies: GaGa dances in her underwear alongside a troupe of tattooed dancers
Cheeky: GaGa flashes her pert behind in her tiny G-string
She stands back and watches as two prisoners have a vicious fight, which leaves one doubled up in the pain on the floor as she is kicked in the stomach.
When GaGa is told she has a phonecall from Beyonce, she picks up the phone and the song finally kicks in.
As the song continues, GaGa is seen dancing past the cells in studded underwear with a troupe of similarly-clad female dancers, before performing a solo number wrapped in nothing but crime scene tape.
Taste of freedom: GaGa gets all dressed up after being informed someone has paid her bail
It soon transpires GaGa's spell in prison is only a brief one after she is told: 'It's your lucky day. Some idiot bailed you out.'
As the singer walks out of jail wearing a large Pirate-esque hat and smart black and white outfit, she is greeted by Beyonce, driving the yellow 'P**sy Wagon' from Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movies.
Looking vampy in a plunging low-cut top and dark black wig, Beyonce tells her: 'You've been a very bad girl. A very, very bad bad girl GaGa.'
Partner-in-crime: Beyonce arrives in the P**sy Wagon from the Kill Bill films to collect GaGa from jail
'You've been a very bad girl': Beyonce chastises GaGa
GaGa said she was offered the truck by Tarantino when she told him of her video plans over lunch.
She said: 'We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video and he loved it so much he said, "You gotta use the P**sy Wagon."
'There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video. I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new.'
As the two women drive through the desert, GaGa asks her partner-in-crime: 'Are you sure you wanna do this Honey Bee..? You know what they saw, once you kill a cow, you gotta make a burger.'
A pensive Beyonce replies: 'You what they say GaGa. Trust is like a mirror. You can fix it if it's broke...
Plotting: Raunchy cowgirl Beyonce joins her boyfriend in a diner
Plotting: GaGa sings in her telephone hat as she poisons the food in the diner kitchen
GaGa finishes her off: '...But you can still see the crack in that motherf**ker's reflection.'
Then action then cuts to a roadside diner as a yellow PVC-clad Beyonce joins her boyfriend - played by Transformers actor Tyrse Gibson - at a booth.
After asking where she's been, her boyfriend then starts a fight with another diner and slaps a female customer on the behind.
While he's behaving badly, Beyonce poisons Tyrese's coffee and smiles sweetly as he starts choking on his drink.
Getting his comeuppance: Beyonce's boyfriend Tyrese Gibson ends up dead after eating his poisoned breakfast
Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, GaGa is cooking up a storm by putting rat poison and cyanide in Tyrese's lunch.
After a few mouthfuls, it isn't long before Tyrese collapses on his plate, prompting a stony-faced Beyonce to say: 'I knew you'd take all my honey, you selfish motherf**ker.'
Soon enough, the rest of the diners follow Tyrese's fate and end up poisoned as well.
Word of the pair's mass-murder soon reaches police and the news and a manhunt is launched for their arrest.
Ghoulish: GaGa and Beyonce dance in the diner surrounded by the poisoned customers
Dressed in disguise, a triumphant GaGa says: 'We did it honey bee. Now let's go far, far away from her.'
Beyonce replies: 'You promise we'll never come back?'
GaGa says: 'I promise,' before the two women hold hands as they drive into the distance.
As their truck is driven into the distance followed by a police helicopter, the words 'to be continued' span across the screen.

Take That's Mark Owen and wife arrive home for crunch talks after he confesses to TEN affairs

Strain: Mark Owen's wife Emma wasn't wearing her wedding ring as the couple returned to their south London home yesterday
Father-of-two blames alcohol for his love-cheat behaviour
Star gave one lover £9,000 after calling off affair
The marriage of Take That singer Mark Owen was on the rocks last night after he admitted cheating on his wife ten times.
Owen, 38, was forced to break the news to wife Emma on Tuesday after one of the girls threatened to tell her about their five-year entanglement.
Yesterday he confessed in public to all ten flings, saying: 'I have really let her [Emma] down. Friends, everybody, I feel like I have let everyone down.'
Friends of the couple say it is 'too early' to tell if the marriage can be saved.
The pair have two children - Elwood, three, and Willow Rose, one - but only wed last October after a courtship of five years.
One of Owen's affairs, with accounts manager Neva Hanley, 24, carried on for most of that time, with the lovers sharing a final night together just weeks before his wedding.
Another of their encounters took place a week after the birth of his daughter.
Other infidelities were drunken one night stands while he was on tour with his band.
The star, who admitted his drinking had affected his marriage, tried desperately to apologise to Emma when he came clean on Tuesday, fearing Miss Hanley was about to sell her story.
Showing the strain: A tense Mark Owen, who yesterday admitted to a string of affairs, arrived at his south London home yesterday afternoon
Crisis talks: The couple, who have two children together, quickly headed inside the marital home
Friends alleged she had threatened to come to his family home or call his wife.
The singer said yesterday: 'I have been an idiot. It's about me, my mistakes. Nobody else is to blame. I have been living with the guilt.
'It has always been there, you carry it around with you.
'It held me back in my relationship with Emma. I wouldn't have done any of this if I had my time again.
Wedding day: The singer married Emma in a Scottish castle in October
'I am halfway through my life now and this, in a way, is a lesson. You've got to learn and that's what I am going to do.'
The shattered-looking star and his wife arrived back at their home in Wandsworth, South London, yesterday after spending the night apart.
A friend said: 'Mark has just dropped an almighty bomb on Emma. She always suspected he was cheating, but he always denied it.
'She is extremely strong-willed and it is too early to say whether she will stay with Mark.
'She wants to do what is right for the children. She doesn't know what to do yet.
'Mark confessed all to Emma on Tuesday - he had an inkling what Neva was going to do - and they did not spend Wednesday day or night together. Emma is devastated, while Mark feels terrible, but this is something he has been dragging around for years.
'Neva basically stayed as a friend, any time he had a problem, he would be in touch with her, but the relationship went too far.'
Miss Hanley, who was brought up in a middle-class family in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, changed her name from Victoria to Neva when she moved to London to go to dance school.
She appeared in several dance videos and adverts, including one for Cornetto ice cream.
On her Twitter page, Miss Hanley calls herself a 'slightly lost dancer, advert-sellout, fish keeper, explicit cupcake lover and gin junkie'. Yesterday, as the story of her affair came out, she boasted on her page: 'Going to stamp on someone'sparade.'
Owen said he first met Miss Hanley five years ago when she was 19, at a platform at Preston railway station.
They became friends and three weeks later he flew her out to Los Angeles where they had sex in Holdeathslywood's Best Western hotel. Three months later, Owen invited her to his Lake District home where they spent a night smoking cannabis, drinking vodka and having sex.
Love cheat: Groom Mark (right) with his Take That band members Howard Donald and Gary Barlow
The pair later cooled their relationship, but kept in touch and spent the night together just one week after Owen's daughter was born. Their final night was last September at the Gore Hotel in Kensington, West London.
Miss Hanley said: 'We had sex five times that night. That's when I started to feel really guilty.
'The lie has gone on for far too long. I can't do this to Mark's family-any more.'
However, a source close to Owen said: 'If Neva is so worried about Mark's family then why did she go to the press?'
Owen also admitted paying Miss Hanley £12,000 over the past year, but said it was not hush money, merely to help her pay for her flat and expenses.
'Indeed, Miss Hanley had twittered in November: 'It has just hit me...I'm debt free! I owe no one anything! Yahooo.'
Owen also claimed he had not cheated on his wife since their wedding day, adding: 'I'm proud of that. For me, the ring is really important and I want to be true to my word.'
He added that since his admission of guilt he felt 'I can start again', saying: 'Emma is a strong girl. She has to do what is right for her and the kids. And I am here if she wants me.'
On tour: Mark (second from right) admitted he had a string of alcohol-fuelled one-night stands while on the road with his band
Miss Hanley is now believed to be dating a man called Matt, writing on her Twitter page: 'How long dating is it before you have to start calling someone your boyfriend/girlfriend ?'
Owen admitted his drinking had put a strain on his relationship with Emma and said he was 'not very nice to live with'.
'I denied to her I was having an affair when things were going on.
'We met and within a year and a half she was pregnant with our first beautiful boy, Elwood. And when you have kids, things change.
'I feel like I am getting to know Em more and more every day. I love her to death but our relationship hasn't always been great, because of me.'
Mark enjoyed massive adoration as a member of boy band Take That but when the group split in 1996, he struggled to find a foothold in the music industry.
After two top five singles was dropped by his record label BMG and in 2002, clearly desperate to raise his profile he took part in Celebrity Big Brother, and emerged as the winner.
Serial cheat: Mark says he is 'deeply sorry' for the pain he has caused Emma
'Life was hard, I guess. I let Emma down. I was selfish and stubborn.'
The group reformed with bandmates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange in 2005, who have since enjoyed a re-run of their huge success and the attentions of their die-hard fans who think nothing of following them from show to show.
He said the others were unaware of his affair with Hanley, but he did not say if they knew of his many liaisons on tour.
Owen added: 'I want to do the right thing now for the kids and Emma.
'It's the best thing in the world having kids. I feel blessed and I am really sorry that I have done this to them and to Emma.
'She has done a lot of good for me, Emma has. She is absolutely without doubt the only person I want to be with for the rest of my life.'
In a statement released yesterday, Owen said: 'I'm so deeply sorry for the pain my actions have caused my family and friends.
'I'd like to ask the media to please respect the privacy of my wife and children during this difficult time.'

Toned and taut: Jennifer Aniston showed off her fabulous legs in a Valentino mini-dress, Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket and Jimmy Choo heels at the London premiere of The Bounty Hunter
Jennifer Aniston braved the cold in London last night as she stepped out in a thigh-skimming mini-dress at the premiere of The Bounty Hunter.
The 41-year-old actress flaunted her fabulous legs in a silver Valentino mini and strappy Jimmy Choo heels, but wisely kept on her Alexander McQueen tuxedo jacket.
The Hollywood beauty put on a tactile show with her handsome co-star Gerard Butler, 40, as they wrapped their arms around each other at the Leicester Square premiere.
Cosy: Aniston cuddles up to her handsome co-star Gerard Butler
The couple have been romantically linked since filming the comedy last summer and did little to dispel the rumours as they embraced each other on the red carpet.
Speaking about their chemistry, Scots star Butler said: 'We have a blast together and she appreciates that Celtic manner.
'There's nothing diva-ish about her, she's very down to earth, very sure of herself and who she is, and I'm like a little kid, who doesn't take myself too seriously.
'We had a fun script and a great director, so we just had to dive in and it was a blast.
Good chemistry: Aniston said 'I love my Gerry' when asked about her relationship with Butler
Aniston was equally appreciative: 'I love my Gerry. We just lucked out - director fantastic, Gerry fantastic, our crew, New York - you just can't go wrong.'
In the film, Butler plays a down-on-his-luck investigator hired to track down his bail-jumping, reporter ex-wife Aniston.
Larking around: The couple share a joke on the red carpet
And last month, Butler was invited to join Aniston in Mexico for her 41st birthday.
Despite the rumours, Butler was photographed kissing a violinist in a Los Angeles street last month and has also been linked to Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan.
The actor, who has been teetotal for 13 years, claimed he didn't deserve his reputation as a womaniser.
He told Men's Health magazine: 'I get laid less now that I used to, because I’m way more paranoid now. Look at f***ing Tiger Woods.
Eighties style: Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace stepped out in a black mini dress with large shoulders
Opera stars: 'Boy band' Blake (L-R) Oliver Baines, Humphrey Berney, Jules Knight, Stephen Bowman looked dapper
'I mean, I’m nowhere near as naughty as I used to be, partly because I did a lot of that when I was drinking.
'I’m not saying I’ve cut that part out. I’m certainly no angel. There’s no smoke without fire.'
Since moving to Hollywood five years ago, Butler has only had two relationships.
He explained: 'I’m not a big relationship guy. One of my vices is, I’m too wrapped up in myself and not always in a good way.'
