Serinda Swan dons her magician costume again to reprise her role as Zatanna, who will make Lois jealous this time around
To keep things hype after the two-hour television event this week, "Smallville" will bring back Serinda Swan to reprise her role as magician Zatanna in next week's episode. Clark meets Zatanna at a comic book convention, where she tells him her father charmed a copy of the comic book "Warrior Angel" and it holds magical powers.
A young man named Stephen (guest star Carlo Marks) steals the comic book and develops super powers, transforming himself into Warrior Angel and saving Chloe from a horrible accident. Meanwhile, Lois becomes jealous of Clark's relationship with Zatanna.
"Warrior" is slated to air on Friday, February 12.
Zatanna, which is also a fictional character in the DC Comics universe, first appeared on the series in season 8. She grants Chloe's wish to have Lois' life and approaches Oliver to find her father's book of spells.

When the ladies of After School stormed the kpop scene last year with their fierce hit Ah, everything about them screamed fierce – their stage charisma, outfits and every aspect of their initial concept. However, After School has since developed and shown that they can show their more vulnerable sides beautifully with Because of You promotions.
Since then, they’ve moved on to performing When I Fall, a track that really shows off the members’ strong vocal abilities.

That catsuit's Rated R! Rihanna surprises fans with daring outfit at pre-Super Bowl concert
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DSACkjWQYoendofvid
[starttext]
The two day event comes ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl XLIV, where the Indianapolis Colts will take on the New Orleans Saints.
She's become famous for her eccentric stage fashion, and last night Rihanna didn't disappoint as she took to the stage in in Miami, Florida.
The pop star paraded around on stage at the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam in a peculiar one-shoulder, one-leg catsuit that featured white trimming.
Her black strapless bra was on show, and she completed the look with fishnet tights, black leather gloves and huge blonde quiff.
The ensemble was created by styling duo Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi, who regularly work with Rihanna on her costumes and red carpet attire.
She stormed the stage with a medley of her hits, including Wait Your Turn, Disturbia and Russian Roulette.
Another eccentric number: Rihanna performed at the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam in Miami in a cut-away catsuit
The Barbadian star is one of a host of celebs who singed up for the concerts, including Timberland, who joined her onstage during the set.
A second gig will be held on today, featuring the likes of Nelly Furtado, Paulina Rubio and Pitbull.
The event will be hosted by Entourage star Kevin Dillon and former Access Hollywood host Nancy O'Dell.
Crowd pleaser: The singer performed a string of hits, including Wait Your Turn, Disturbia and Russian Roulette
Hair raising: Rihanna teamed her unusual outfit with a huge blonde quiff
The performance is the latest in a long line of promotional appearances for her album, Rated R.
Rihanna, who turns 22 later this month, has been working overtime in an effort to build up sales, which have so far been steady.
She has sold just over 571,000 copies since its release in November.
She has done considerably better than her ex boyfriend Chris Brown, who has sold around 258,000 copies of his latest release Graffiti.
Queen of pop: Rihanna reigned supreme from her favourite white throne
It has been 12 months since they were involved in a violent argument while driving home from a pre-Grammy party which left her badly battered.
RollingStone.com deputy editor Caryn Ganz told CNN: 'In the immediate aftermath of the incident, there was all of this 'dead' talk - nobody will work with him, he'll never be able to sell another record - and that's turned out to not be true.
But she noted:'Rihanna is clearly doing better than he is, both in sales figures and public reception.'
Football fever: The Who performed at a separate NFL gig ahead

VIDEO SPECIAL: Oh Africa, oh dear! Akon releases official World Cup 2010 song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YI4sDx6SGwAendofvid
[starttext]
The biggest and best global sporting festival will kick off in South Africa in just 126 days time and as the globe counts down to the main event there's just one question on everyone's lips: who will sing the official theme song?
Today we got our answer as r'n'b superstar Akon together with Keri Hilson and The Soweto Gospel Choir released their effort - 'Oh Africa'.
A lively number featuring plenty of rhythmic chanting and African background singing, the song includes the usual inspirational lyrics that don't really make much sense - chorus: 'This our time to show, our time to fly, our time to be inside the sky; our time to so, our time of song; the last one in football.'
The accompanying music video is a colourful affair, full of smiling, happy people celebrating the greatest show on earth - as it should be.
Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres are enlisted to don their shooting boots and help paint a mural of some of the finest footballers set to feature in the World Cup: Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry, Kaka and... Andrey Arshavin. Whoops.
Some of the home nations might also get a little over excited when they see the many faces painted with national flags of competing countries, one of which seems to be the Union Jack.
But, before the Scottish FA gets a little hot under the collar, a gentle reminder: no, it is only England who are heading to South Africa this summer.
But now the burning question of the World Cup anthem has been answered we must all now wait with bated breath to see whether England will themselves release an official World Cup theme. The way John Terry is alleged to have been carrying on it looks like there can only be one suitable song: Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division.
Not going to the World Cup: Arsenal and Russia star Andrey Arshavin

'American Idol' Road to Hollywood: Drama Queen and Teenage Heartthrob
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywq-OxMqN0Eendofvid
[starttext]
Simon Cowell could not stand the amount of drama a contestant displayed when she was criticized, and he gave a vote of confidence to a teenage boy with country flavor.
"American Idol" reviewed back the past auditions in Road to Hollywood. The last audition episode revealed that there are a total of 181 people going to Hollywood. Soon the show will begin the Hollywood week where Ellen DeGeneres begins her stint as Paula Abdul's replacement.
The first in Hollywood episode was Jessica Furney who tried out once with a Janis Joplin song. With a new look and a new song choice, she sang Leona Lewis' "Footprints in the Sand" which Simon Cowell co-wrote. Victoria Adams said she had no idea Simon was behind the song while Simon kept self-praising the song. Jessica went through with four votes.
Amanda Shectman displayed her skill in impersonating Britney Spears' voice. But in the audition, she sang nothing like the pop star. Victoria advised her to work on the expression while Kara DioGuardi told her to connect with the song. Simon mocked Amanda's drama queen attitude but gave her a yes. The other judges did similarly. Outside, Amanda continued to be dramatic with tear-filled 'acceptance speech'.
Meanwhile, Stephanie Fisher thought the seventh time around, she would be lucky. The very tan girl said her motivation got higher knowing that her idol Victoria was on the judging seat. She sang "Fever", got stopped and told by Simon her voice was horrible. Stephanie said she was too nervous because Victoria was there so the judges asked Posh to turn around while Stephanie sang another song. The result was the same, so they sent her home without ticket.
Aaron Kelly was the type of teenage boy who would get a lot of votes from young girls. When he was about a year old his aunt and uncle saved him and his brothers from social service's grab when their parents hit the low. He sang "The Climb" and Simon thought it was a pretty good audition. He went through to Hollywood.
The Hollywood Round is divided into four parts, airing on February 9, 10, 16 and 17. The last day of the Hollywood Round will reveal the Top 24. Twelve female contestants will perform live for the first time on February 23 while the male ones take the next day. Audience will be able to vote from there and the result where two female and two male are eliminated will be read on February 25.

It’s nice to see that, even without the aesthetic help of attractive stage outfits and brightly colored backdrops, the girls still shine.

Now Miley Cyrus's nine-year-old sister launches risqué clothing line for pre-teens
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhtux0SBS_cendofvid
[starttext]
Controversy: Miley Cyrus and little sister Noah spotted arriving at a recording studio together last week
Miley Cyrus's nine-year-old sister is set to raise eyebrows again with news she is launching a clothing line for children.
Noah, who is not even high school age yet, is teaming up with best friend Emily Grace Reaves, eight, and Ooh! La, La! Couture designers for the project.
The two youngsters will release the 'trendy, sweet, yet edgy' designs in time for Valentine's Day.
However, parents may raise an eyebrow or two at the grown-up nature of the slightly risqué designs.
They are creating 'versatile styles' which can be worn with ballerina slippers or trainers, or paired with lace stockings and boots for a more rock and roll look.
The Emily Grace Collection will appeal not just to little girls - the line also has an exclusive Teen Collection available to a size 14.
But whatever spin is put on it, some will see the venture as a little perverse.
Double act: The youngster is set to launch a clothing line with actress Emily Grace Reaves, left, who starred with Miley in Hannah Montana: The Movie
Back in October, Noah caused controversy when she attended a Halloween party dressed in a black lace-up mini dress with PVC knee-high boots.
She completed her overly grown-up look with a face full of make-up and lashings of red lipstick.
According to CocoPerez.com, Reaves, who played Cindy Lou in Hannah Montana: The Movie, wore one of her creations - a leopard-print mini-dress, lace tights and fingerless black gloves - in a promotional video with Noah.

Bruce Willis Demonstrates His Exploding Underpants Invention

The 54-year-old actor has amused audiences of 'Late Show with David Letterman' as he shows his new invention which leaves holes on his jeans.
Bruce Willis gave U.S. TV audiences a late night laugh on Monday, February 1 by hawking a zany new product - a pair of "exploding underpants" that left the actor's jeans full of holes. The "Die Hard" star appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman" and showcased his invention, which was packaged in a box on [David] Letterman's desk.
But even Willis had to fight the urge to laugh when he stood up to demonstrate the bizarre underpants after they 'exploded' and left two holes below the front pockets of his trousers. He told the TV audience, "It'll liven up any party or any business meeting. Available in briefs, boxers or boxer-briefs for $19.95... Stand back and learn. When we're at the lab we like to say, '3, 2, 1!' "
The actor coolly sat back down and drenched his crotch with water before chuckling, "I'm like the circus. No elephants, no nothing, just the tent."

Kate chases after Sawyer who gets his hands off the tie by the Others, but he refuses to be approached.
"Lost" officially kicked off the final season on Tuesday, February 2 with the resurrection of Sayid in the Temple Tantrum that terrified the Others. Next week, it looks like Sawyer manages to escape from the Others and Kate goes after him. ABC has not released its synopsis, but it seems Kate and Sawyer will exchange words about 'caring for each other'. "What Kate Does" airs on Tuesday, February 9.
Creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse recently answered a few questions from People including about the dynamic between Jack, Kate, Sawyer and Juliet. Cuse said, "The romantic quadrangle with Jack, Sawyer, Kate and Juliet will be resolved," while Lindelof said, "Come on, we can't give you a spoiler about the end of the entire series! First off, you might be making an improper inference by asking, 'Is she gonna CHOOSE between Jack and Sawyer.' What if one of those guys doesn't want her?"
In another question, the writing duo responded to why they are bringing back dead characters. "That's something that the two of us as viewers and lovers of television really like," Cuse explained. "It's fun when you get to see some of your favorite characters come back - like George Clooney [on the end of 'ER']. We've got some fun ways in which a lot of our returning fan favorites will be interacting with our characters in this new incarnation."

We've got some fun ways in which a lot of our returning fan favorites will be interacting with our characters in this new incarnation."

Elton John gets dirty with Lady Gaga as they duet at the Grammys

Dirty duo: Elton John embraces Lady Gaga's filthy style at the Grammys in LA
Her outrageous performance style and out-there dress sense has transformed the music industry, influencing everyone from Lily Allen to Christina Aguilera.
So it should be no surprise that Elton John has jumped on the Lady Gaga bandwagon.
The veteran performer joined pop's hottest newcomer onstage at the Grammys last night
Double the fun: Elton John and Lady Gaga dueted at a double piano
In a no-expense-spared performance she was then flung into the garbage chute of the Fame Factory set, before emerging seated at a piano, facing Elton John.
And, although at 62 he could be forgiven for looking for taking the low-key route, Elton embraced Lady Gaga's performance style in an action packed duet.
Lady Gaga began the segment alone, performing her hit Poker Face astride a pedestal.
...before being thrown down a chute marked 'rejected'
Glitterati: Lady Gaga wearing a spangly green outfit and matching heels
She's GaGa: The pop star pulls out all the stops for the performance
Both were covered in artfully applied dirt, with Elton's trademark glasses getting the Gaga treatment in all-over diamante.
The pair battled it out at the piano, Elton singing Your Song, and Gaga Speechless.
The two mixed their songs together, paying tribute to one another by changing the lyrics.
Force of nature: With her hair extensions flying, Gaga gave the performance everything in front of the star-studded audience
Old school: Grammy veteran Elton more than held his own
And it appeared that a smiling Elton, who has shared the stage with everyone from Eminem to George Michael over the years, was happy with his new partner.
Elton has won five Grammy awards in his career, while Lady Gaga won her first two last night - Dance Recording for Poker Face and Dance Album for her debut The Fame.
She was also nominated for best record, song and album.
Quick change: Lady Gaga arrived on the red carpet in a jaw-dropping, celestial Armani Prive lilac gown with bejewelled platform heels
New heights: Lady Gaga's shoes
As usual Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, displayed her love of fashion in a series of jaw-dropping outfits.
She walked down the red-carpet in a jaw-dropping, celestial Armani Prive lilac gown with bejewelled platform heels.
The long sleeved corseted dress - which appears to have been designed based on Look 38 from the Prive Spring 2010 presentation - is covered in Swarovski crystals and had a solar system theme, complete with a spiky accessory.
Giorgio Armani created a variety of pieces for Lady Gaga to wear for both the evening’s ceremony and for her special live stage performance.
Armani said: 'We hear Lady Gaga’s music everywhere we go. It is like a soundtrack of our times. In addition to her formidable songwriting skills, she is a modern fashion phenomenon.
The 23-year-old then changed into a green leotard with huge padded shoulders for her stage show.
Down she goes: Lady Gaga jumps from her pedestal, but is caught by her dancers
Outfit number two: Gaga dazzled in emerald green, with poker straight hair
It wasn't just the dress that changed - she also swapped her two-tone blonde wavy hair for poker straight bleached blonde extensions.
After picking up her awards it was time for dress number three - a white mini covered in diamante.
The New Yorker teamed it with an intergalatic silver hat, which had a sculptural look with her towering shoes.

Lord of the dance: Prince Harry ditches ceremony and gets down to the Calypso beat in Haiti fundraising effort

Royal effort: Prince Harry gets into the groove in a Haiti fundraising effort in Barbados along with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho
Harry strutted his stuff on the stage of a Haiti benefit concert in Barbados after challenging donors to raise thousands to get him onto his feet.
The 25-year-old royal joined revellers at the televised fundraising gig last night then decided to help increase the funds by laying down a royal gauntlet for viewers.
The compere announcing the calypso acts told the audience in the grounds of Farley Hill national park that Harry would dance for them if they donated 5,000 Barbados dollars (£1,560) in the next 25 minutes.
Looking good on the dancefloor: The prince wears a t-shirt bearing the slogan Haiti we care, as he dances on stage with a local singer
It is not known how much money was raised in the time but Harry, who made an undisclosed personal donation, remained true to his word and left the VIP section of the venue to wait patiently in the stage wings to wow the audience.
The royal was joined by Prince Seeiso of Lesotho as the pair are in Barbados to launch a fundraising polo match later today in aid of their charity Sentebale which helps impoverished African children in the Kingdom of Lesotho
The pair both wore blue T-shirts produced to promote the concert emblazoned with the words Haiti We Care.
Harry and Seeiso came on to a great cheer from the crowds who had been dancing to music since the morning.
The 25-year-old swayed to pulsating rhythms provided by singer Red Plastic Bag, real name Stedson Wiltshire, winner of last year's Barbados Calypso King title.

The heavy weight Hip-Hoppers were united in Weezy's 'Drop the World' and Drake's 'Forever' with Barker on drums.
The most anticipated collaboration at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards was reserved as the last act of the day before they announced the winner of Album of the Year. Eminem, joined the star-studded line-up consisting of Drake, Lil Wayne and Travis Barker, being introduced by "Inglourious Basterds" director Quentin Tarantino.
Weezy and Barker were the opening act, performing "Drop the World". Then Eminem came out just in time to sing his verse. An alarm was sounded, Drake came out, spitting verses of "Forever", his collaborative song with Weezy which was also made as the theme song of LeBron James' documentary "More Than a Game".
Amidst the celebration and the energy-pumping performances, Grammys spared a time to remember the victims of Haiti earthquake. Through the performance by Mary J. Blige and Andrea Bocelli, the organizers encourage viewers to donate. "Bridge Over Troubled Water" can be downloaded on iTunes and the proceeds is used to support Haiti relief.

Although it appears as if Kara’s popularity is growing everyday, Seungyeon begs to differ.
On a recent recording of SBS Quiz! Sixth Sense, Seungyeon revealed that when the ladies of Kara took the stage the response from the crowd was pretty good. However, when sexy singer Moon Ji Eun appeared, Seungyeon stated that the men in the military went crazy!
In response to the obvious disappointment from Seungyeon, netizens left encouraging comments such as: “With your help, KARA was able to rise to stardom. You worked hard!” I’m guessing that this performance was early on in their career because if the girls showed up to the military now, the reaction will probably be on a whole different scale!

Mao Asada is a Japanese figure skater who was the 2008 World Figure Skating champion and is ranked #4 in the world by the International Skating Union (ISU). And with the help of many other skaters, Mao briefly taunted the competition with the Brown Eyed Girls hip swaying dance song Abracadabra!
It’s always great to see the k-pop influence spreading, especially on a global scale. Granted, the form and choreography isn’t perfect but then again the performers are wearing a pair of skates on ice.

On today’s SBS Inkigayo Vancouver Olympics Special boy groups BEAST and 2AM hooked up on stage to perform a kpop classic, Psy’s Champion. The two groups did an excellent job of bringing back this track with the original fun flair that Psy gave it.
Though they’re a ballad group, 2AM definitely knows how to have fun and bust a move in a genre that’s definitely not their own. BEAST is the go-to newbie group that fans can count on to make ‘em smile with their dorkiness on stage. The original track was a very upbeat song and it was definitely the perfect song for these boys to perform. Check out the original and the new version below.
