Island life: Rachel and Corin prepare for the Hawaiian party

Day four in the house and Big Brother has found a way for the housemates to show off as much flesh as possible.

With everyone still on their best behaviour and steering clear of arguments as they get to know each other, Big Brother decided to spice things up with a house party.

Non-housemate Mario, who is dressed as a mole as part of his task in a bid to become a proper housemate, chose a Hawaiian theme after he 'won' a fixed quiz.

The quiz saw Big Brother reading out information from each housemates' application form and asked their housemates to guess which one it applied to.

Earlier, Mario had been told by the Tree of Temptation he must win the quiz, or risk being thrown out of the Big Brother house.

While the rest of their housemates were simply guessing, Mario was being helped by the Tree, who was feeding answers to him.

Not much coverage: Corin wears a pair of coconuts

For the party, Big Brother treated the housemates to Hawaiian pizza and Pina Colada cocktails.

Meanwhile, on Saturday night's highlights episode of Big Brother, the housemates tried to find out who was trying to sabotage the house after some of their newly-bought vegetables were thrown in the pool.

During the previous night, Mario had been ordered by the Tree of Temptation to put the food in the pool as part of his mole task.

Mischievous: As 'the mole' Mario is having to carry out secret tasks for the Tree of Temptation

He then put the potato bags in Ife's make-up bag, hoping to incriminate her, but her housemates believed she had been set up.

John James suspected it was Mario and called him 'a cracking little actor', but admitted he understood if it was part of a secret task.

Aside from his mole tasks, Mario has found himself attract to posh housemate Ben

All change: The housemates try and wear as much clothes as possible for the Wear It Or Lose It task

As he chatted to Caoimhe, Mario conceded he would 'leave it as friendship' with Ben.
Another Big Brother task called Wear It Or Lose It saw housemates have four minutes to put on as many items of their clothing.

Any clothes they failed to put on will be lost.

After Ben only manages to get one pair of trousers, Mario offers to lend him some of his clothes.

Pop princesses: Kylie Minogue, looking stunning in a see-through floaty dress and over-the-knee boots, and Katy Perry in a funky rubber dress and purple wig, perform at the final of Germany's Next Top Model in Cologne

She may only be a tiny 5ft 1in but Kylie Minogue knows how to give the catwalk queens a run for their money.

With the help of her dancers - and some very high-heeled, over-the-knee cream lace-up boots - she towered above the stage as she performed in Cologne last night.

The pint-sized pop star, who teamed her legwear with a very revealing floaty dress, was one of the guests at the final of Germany's Next Top Model.

Surrounded by a number of half-naked dancers, the Australian singer, 42, treated her German audience to a performance of her new song All The Lovers.

Emulating the video for the single, which is released this weekend, her male and female dancers writhed around in a giant human pyramid with Kylie singing on top, her blue print dress billowing around them.

She certainly showed how it was done to her younger pop counterpart Katy Perry, who was also on last night's line-up and brought her own sense of fashion to the night.

Centre of attention: Kylie Minogue starts her song atop a human pyramid of dancers

On top of the world: Kylie towers over her dancers, who stripped off halfway through the song

The I Kissed A Girl star, 25, swapped the electric blue wig she wore at last weekend's MTV Movie Awards for a purple one as she took to the stage.

Performing her new song California Gurls, she was her usual kooky self in a short rubber dress that looked like it had pieces of Lego printed on it.

She was giving a warm reception from the audience at the Lanxess Arena, and in typical fashion took to her Twitter afterwards to gush about the night.

California Girl: Katy Perry dons another kooky outfit as she took to the stage last night

She wrote: 'I wanted to say thank u to all the lovely German fans I OBVIOUSLY had fun 2night!!! See u soon. ♥ Heidi!!'

Heidi being supermodel Heidi Klum, 37, who is the show's lead judge and executive producer, which revolves around IMG Models on the hunt for a new supermodel.

The competition, which began on March 4 and was aired on the German television network Pro Sieben, was won by 21-year-old Alisar Ailabouni from Austria.

Rocking out: Katy and her guitarist put on a show for the German audience

She beat off stiff competition from Laura Weyel and Hanna Bohnekamp, who was the runner-up, to take the coveted crown.

This was the fifth season of the show, and in a difference previous series, the audition process was completely open and every model-wannabe got a chance to audition in front of the jury lead by Klum.

Heidi, who is the world's second highest-paid supermodel, hosted the event last night and showed off her enviable figure in a leopard-skin print dress and matching heels.

Battle of the Big Brother bikini babes... and it's only Day Two!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTENQZFV-JIendofvid
[starttext]
By Sarah Bull

Bikini babes: (Left to right) Corin, Rachael and Ife put on their bikinis to have a wash on the first day of being in the Big Brother house

With seven attractive female housemates in England's most famous house, Big Brother's battle of the bikinis was always going to be fun to watch.

But while viewers usually have to wait a few weeks to see housemates in their swimwear, this year those watching the live coverage were treated to the sight of the best of the bunch donning their two-pieces on Day Two of the series.

In a bid to retain some of their modesty while in the shower, which this year has completely see-through doors, Corin, Rachael, Ife and Josie all paraded around in their best bikinis this morning - to the delight of their seven fellow male housemates.

In scenes yet to be screened on the main evening show, Corin showed she resembles Katie Price in more ways than one as she struggled to contain her curves in an embellished red triangle bikini, while Beyoncé beauty Rachael opted for a flowered contrasting two-piece.

Ife also went mismatched in a black top and blue patterned bottoms, as Josie went for the green goddess look in her outfit.

Even John James got in on the action, displaying his muscly torso with just a towel to maintain his dignity as he stepped out of the shower.

Katie who? Corin shows off her amazing toned figure in a red embellished triangle bikini

But professional Beyoncé lookalike Rachael appears to be the most fond of showing of her figure - displaying her Bootylicious curves in underwear as well as swimwear as she got to know her fellow housemates.

The 23-year-old hair stylist, who admits she checks the mirror up to 100 times a day 'to check I'm still hot', quickly changed out of her pink entrance outfit into a black vest top and hot pink knickers.

And Rachael's pride in her body has not gone unnoticed.

Rachael's bikini top struggled to contain her ample curves as she beautified herself after having a shower

Australian John James, who has not made a secret of his success with the opposite sex, couldn't resist sneaking a glance as Rachael slipped into something a bit more comfortable.

But Rachael was always going to make the most of her time in the most famous house in Britain - having told her mother when the reality show started 10 years ago that she would one day be a housemate.

Green goddess: Bristol girl Josie wasn't green with envy - she wore her own bikini to rival the other beauties in the house

Relaxing: Seemingly forgetting she is being watched by hundreds of cameras, Josie chills out in the tub

Meanwhile, just hours after waking up on their first morning in the house, housemates were treated to a formal dinner.

After being called to the Store Room at lunchtime to pick up formal wear, including fake tan, false eyelashes and nail varnish, housemates were called to the garden.

With the exception of Sunshine, who was excluded from the meal because she has vertigo, housemates were strapped into chairs which were attached to a table, which was then hoisted 40 metres into the air.

Bra-vo: Rachael keeps a tight hold of her assets as she wears a black bra in the house this morning

Vain: Rachael previously said she looks in the mirror 100 times a day - handy when you're in a house full of them!

Housemates were then told to 'enjoy' a three-course meal while suspended above Britain's most famous residence.

Most of the housemates giggled and laughed throughout the task, but Shabby said she would 'rather have my dessert in the living room than in the air!'

Cheeky: Rachael changes out of her pink dress last night, showing off her hot pink knickers in the process

Pert: She seems unconcerned about her lack of clothes as she wanders casually around the house

After lunch, housemates began their Hung Drawn and Quoted task, where they were asked to guess the words Sunshine was painting in the garden - from 40 metres in the air where they were seated at a dinner table hoisted in the air by a crane.

The Pictionary-style game saw Sunshine have to draw images to prompt the housemates to guess what the word was, which were headlines written about Big Brother from last night's press.

As they guessed two of the words - which included 'wannabe' and 'squatter' - correctly, they were given £200 towards their shopping budget.

A little less conversation: Ife and Caoihme have a chat while sitting in the supersize bath

Meanwhile, Mario has been given his own secret task, as he was chosen by random to be the 14th person to go into the Big Brother house.

He was told by Big Brother that he would be a mole, and was given a mole costume to wear for his entrance into the house last night as well as a sign which read 'I Am A Mole'.

If housemates guess he is a mole, he will automatically be evicted.

Dinner: The housemates were given formal wear as they were told to sit at a table which was hoisted 40 metres in the air

Black tie: Rachael looked stunning in bejewelled dress, while Nathan seemed to be enjoying his James Bond look

After entering the house last night, Mario was given the first part of his secret task when he was told by the Tree of Temptation chest of drawers in the bathroom that he had to blow up a beach ball and writing an incriminating rumour about a fellow housemate.

He was then told to plant the beach ball in the garden without any of the other housemates noticing.

Mario, who has to sleep in a specially made 'Mole Hole' during his time in the house, managed to write rumours including 'Josie is bookies' favourite’ and 'David most hated' on the inflatable before throwing it into the garden.

Sky high: Housemates were strapped into chairs at a special table before being lifted into the air

Dinner time: They were then instructed to 'enjoy' a three-course meal at the elevated table

Caoihme, Govan, Ife and Shabby discovered the ball in the garden less than an hour after Mario planted it there and immediately started debating where it had come from.

Big Brother then told Shabby to bring the ball into the diary room.

Mario has so far avoided any suspicion from his fellow housemates by telling them he had been blindfolded and forced into the mole costume by Big Brother before entering the house

Sexy: Earlier in the day, Ife and Steve experimented with their looks in a peroxide blonde mullet wig

Specs appeal: Rachael even manages to pull off huge glasses as she sits chatting to housemates

Despite criticism that the reality show has 'run its course', viewing figures for last night suggest otherwise - with an average audience of 5million viewers, peaking at 5.9million at 10pm.

In contrast, BBC1's Junior Apprentice got 4.2million viewers while ITV1's crime drama Father & Son, starring Dougray Scott, was watched by 3.7million viewers.

Big Brother is on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.

Let's get this party started: The gig was held at South Africa's 30,000-capacity Orlando Stadium

If the football to follow is to be dubbed the biggest show in Earth, this was one hell of a warm-up act.

South Africa kicked off a month long party on Thursday night with a spectacular concert at Orlando Stadium, featuring the likes of the Black Eyed Peas and Shakira, as well a host of local talent.

South African President Jacob Zuma and FIFA President Sepp Blatter also joined in on the party in Johannesburg's Soweto township, calling for unity for the duration of the World Cup.

'Africa is showing the world that it is capable of holding any matter of the world like any other region. Africa is hosting this tournament, South Africa is just the stage,' said Zuma.

Net proceeds from the concert will go to 20 Centres for 2010, FIFA's official social campaign for the World Cup, aimed at achieving positive change in Africa through football.

The campaign aims to build 20 centres across the continent offering healthcare services, education and soccer training for disadvantaged communities.

Shakira sang some of her most well known tracks, including The Hips Don't Lie, before getting stuck in to the finale song Waka Waka (This Time For Africa), the official World Cup anthem.

Concert-goers clapped and cheered amidst almost freezing temperatures as footballers, local musicians and the international singing stars, who also included U.S. singer Alicia Keys, took to the stage, the first time such a music concert has been held as part of the World Cup opening events.

'This is great. This concert, the World Cup. When you drive down the road, you can feel it's changing us...Sports and music are a universal language that everyone understands,' said 28-year-old Neo Baloyi.

U.S. group Black Eyed Peas kicked off the concert, which was broadcast live around the world, with their chart-topping hit Where is the love.

Other stars expected to perform include R Kelly, Angelique Kidjo and Vusi Mahlasela.
Children and the elderly alike waved South African flags and sang 'Shosholoza', the popular local tune sung mostly at soccer matches.

International superstars: Black Eyed Peas performed a storming set at the start of the concert

The scene in the 30,000-capacity stadium was reminiscent of 1995, when South Africa, recently free from decades of apartheid rule, won the rugby World Cup. The tournament was widely seen as uniting a country long divided along racial lines.

'This is history in the making. Only 15 years ago we were unsure of our identity, but here we stand as one nation. I'm very excited, I'm very happy to be here, I love the vibe,' said 44-year-old Vanitha Govender, who works for Standard Bank.
