SNSD becomes real cheerleaders for an American football game!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kNNUmkav6Eendofvid

[starttext]
On May 22nd, SNSD transformed into real cheerleaders for Korea University’s final game in the Korea’s University Football League.

SNSD first transformed into football cheerleaders in their music video for Oh! In fact, actual Korea University football students were part of the music video! SM Entertainment’s CEO, Kim Young Min, was actually a member of the football team while attending Korea University.

The girls were invited to perform and they duly obliged with song performances. Tiffany also kicked a football into the crowd while the other members threw them as momentos for lucky fans who managed to catch them as they fly at them.

These football players and fans are surely lucky. Who wouldn’t want 9 gorgeous girls cheering for them and giving them balls?

It’s been quite some time since girl group Secret first performed their song Magic, but the group is showing no signs of stopping any time soon.

Ever since their radical transformation for their comeback, the group has been well-received by the public. While I’m definitely a fan of the new Secret, I can’t help but think of how the girls will manage to impress me whenever they decide to stop promoting Magic and start promoting a new song. For now, check out their performance below!

Time Stops for Davichi on Music Core

[starttext]
Powerful vocals, a seemingly gentle introduction and a rapid transition into a punk rock jam totally defines Davichi’s Time, Please Stop.

With yet another fresh tune up their sleeves, this dynamic vocal duo stands out from the rest, even with the amount of attention going towards this week’s artist comebacks. Their simplistic, yet beautiful stages show that Davichi needs no glitz and glam, because their amazing vocals and stage presence are all they need to woo the crowd.

Are you looking at me? Why fish are scared of their own reflections

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxXWpiDd_7cendofvid
[starttext]
By Daily Mail Reporter

The male cichlids were terrified when their reflections made exactly the same moves as they did

Fish are more scared of themselves than a real opponent, a new study has revealed.

Tests showed that male cichlids try to fight themselves when they spot their reflection gawping back at them in a mirror.

They are then terrified when their lookalike makes the same moves and fights back in exactly the same way.

Scientists believe the research may actually show that the brains of fish are surprisingly similar to humans.

Biologist Dr Julie Desjardins, who led the study, said: 'I think this stimulus is so far outside their realm of experience that it results in this somewhat emotional response.

'It seems it is something they don't understand. But I think it indicates there is more going on cognitively than people have long assumed in fish.

'Perhaps it is similar to when you are a little kid and someone keeps repeating back to you what you've just said - that quickly becomes irritating and frustrating.'

During the tests male African cichlids, a freshwater territorial fish, were either shown their reflection or another fish behind a pain of glass.

In both cases the fish tried to fight the 'other' fish, resulting in 20-minute long sparring sessions.

Afterwards, the scientists tested blood samples for testosterone and other aggression-inducing hormones. All fish showed high levels of testosterone.

The fishes' brains were also examined but only those that fought with their reflection showed high activity in the amygdala, the brain region tied to fear and fear conditioning.

Dr Desjardins, of Stanford University, California, suggested the fear was due to the unfamiliarity of the encounter: She said: 'In normal fights, the fish bite at each other, one after the other.

'But when you are fighting with a mirror, your opponent is perfectly in time, so the fish was not seeing the expected sort of response from their opponent.

'The amygdala is a part of the brain that has been associated with fear and fear conditioning, not only in fish but across all vertebrates.

'The fact that we saw evidence of a really high level of activity in the amygdala is pretty exciting and surprising

'All grown up' Miley Cyrus shocks Dancing With The Stars host with raunchy cage performance

Teenage angst: Miley Cyrus snarls at the camera as she performs her new single Can't Be Tamed on Dancing With The Stars

Miley Cyrus shot to fame as the squeaky clean Hannah Montana in the Disney TV show when she was just 14.

But the 17-year-old showed she is determined to put her 'good girl' tween image behind her last night as she pulled out all the stops for a raunchy performance on Dancing With The Stars.

Wearing an all-black leather outfit and knee-length boots, Miley began singing her new single Can't Be Tamed from inside a cage, surrounded by several scantily clad dancers.

Provocative: The 17-year-old wore a black leotard and knee-high boots for the show

With her hair teased into a backcombed quiff at the front, Miley snarled at the cameras as she performed the song with both confidence and aggression.

After Miley finished her song, Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergeron remarked: 'Billy Ray Cyrus, your little girl's growing up!'

Miley's performance comes after a video of her doing some 'dirty dancing' with 45-year-old film producer Adam Shankman surfaced on the internet last week.

Angry: Miley snarled at the cameras throughout the performance

However, both Miley's country singer father Billy Ray and her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth have come forward to defend the teenager.

While Billy Ray dismissed it as Miley 'having fun' and 'doing what people her age do', Liam said: 'Everyone gets criticism, it's kind of what comes with this job - everybody's trying to bring you down.

'Miley has got a good head on her shoulders.'

Meanwhile, American football star Chad Ochocinco and his dance partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated from the show in the Dancing With The Stars semi-finals.

Elimination: Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke (left) discover they are going home, while Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy make it to the final

Grateful: American football star Chad said he feels like he has 'already won'

After finding out he was leaving the show, Chad said: 'I enjoyed the journey, I met some wonderful people, I got some great criticism that's only made me stronger," he said as he was kicked off.

'And I'll miss them all, especially the beautiful Cheryl Burke. And in my eyes really, I've already won.'

Finalist: Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger, ice skater Evan Lysacek and sports presenter Erin Andrews have made next week's final

Next week's final will see Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger, ice skater Evan Lysacek and sports presenter Erin Andrews battle it out to be crowned the winner of the U.S. TV dance contest.

The finalists will be required to perform four competitive dances, including a freestyle number.

Bae Seul Gi credits Bokgo dance for movie opportunity

It has been a while since we have seen Bae Seul Gi in Korea as she makes her first appearance on a variety show for two years on the May 18th episode of Strong Heart.

Bae Seul Gi has been working mainly in China in the past few years but she also scored a movie opportunity for Finale in 2009 where she plays an assassin, after catching the eye of German director, Rouchdi Guedria. She revealed that her Bokgo dance performances in Love Letter had caught the director’s eye and he even came down to Korea to give her a surprise audition.

And there was even more Bokgo magic on this episode as her Love Letter partners, Chun Myung Hoon and Kim Jong Min rejoined her on stage as they replicated their Bokgo dance performances from the past, and getting everyone excited!

Days earlier, we revealed a bunch of video clips for something called Ariul and were endorsed by 4minute.

But no one knew what it was for as a search for Ariul did not yield anything else other than the website, until now.

It was revealed on the 18th that Ariul was a new cosmetic brand and the clips revealed earlier had been used to amplify interest among netizens and served as a teaser ahead of their full-blown marketing campaign.

A representative revealed, “We actually signed a contract at the end of last year with 4minute but it was only recently that we filmed the CF. Our marketing campaign will be tied in with 4minute’s impending comeback.”

Watch the screaming again as we await the CF and 4minute’s comeback!

Charlotte Church returns to her wild ways with a boozy night that left her slumped over a bar table

Fallen angel: With a table of drinks in front of her, Charlotte Church lies unconscious at a bar in East London

After becoming a mother for the second time, it seemed she had finally decided to ditch her wild ways.

But if these pictures are anything to go by, the Voice Of An Angel has fallen well and truly back to earth... again.

Charlotte Church ended a mammoth drinking session slumped over the table of a bar.

The 24-year-old singer was partying with friends in Shoreditch, East London.

The group arrived at the 333 Mother bar, a favourite of Amy Winehouse, at 1.30am, shortly after she had finished filming Andrew Lloyd Webber's BBC1 talent show Over the Rainbow on May 1.

The group began downing champagne and cocktails before Miss Church eventually passed out.

After an hour, she was carried from the bar by friends without her shoes and bundled into a taxi.

Miss Church achieved worldwide fame as an 11-year-old classical singer and performed in front of the Pope and the U.S. President. But a string of turbulent relationships followed in her teens and she was frequently pictured smoking and stumbling out of pubs.

Miss Church, who is worth £11million, once famously boasted that she drank ten double vodkas on nights out.

She and her boyfriend, the rugby player Gavin Henson, had their first child, Ruby Megan, in September 2007.

And fans had hoped her days of debauchery had finally finished with the birth of her second child, Dexter, in January last year.
